It is unlawful to cut, mar, injure, deface, spoil, break or destroy any fence, sidewalk, house, building, tree, plant or other property of another, or any public property within the city, whether real or personal property; or, without municipal authority, to deface, mutilate, tear down or destroy any signboard or post within the corporate limits of the city.
