9.04.080 Unlawful imprisonment.

A. A person is guilty of unlawful imprisonment if he knowingly restrains another person.
B. For purposes of this section, “restrain” means to restrict a person’s movement without consent and without legal authority in a manner that interferes substantially with his liberty by moving him from one place to another or by confining. (Ord. 628, 1976)
