A person is guilty of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle when:

A. Knowing that he does not have the consent of the owner or person entitled to possession, he takes, operates or exercises control over another’s automobile, airplane, motorcycle, motorboat or other motor-propelled vehicle;

B. Knowing that a motor vehicle has been unlawfully obtained, rides in such vehicle or uses it for transportation; or

C. Knowing that a motor vehicle is in his possession with instructions by the owner or person entitled to possession, he grossly deviates from said instructions. (Ord. 628, 1976)
