A. Upon the filing of the application for a business license, the department shall give notice of the application within ten days to the health district, fire department, community development department and the building official of the city, requiring each to make an investigation as to whether the premises are in compliance or are not in compliance with this chapter and the applicable city regulations.

B. An applicant for a manager’s or entertainer’s license shall be issued a temporary license upon receipt of a complete license application and fee. Said temporary license shall automatically expire on the fifteenth day following the filing of a complete application and fee, unless the city clerk has failed to approve or deny the license application, in which case the temporary license shall be valid until the city clerk approves or denies the application, or until the final determination of any appeal from a denial of the application. In no event may the city clerk extend the application review time for more than an additional twenty days. (Ord. 029/2003)
