5.36.030 Tax – Levy.
This section is included in your selections.
There is levied upon all persons, associations and organizations, except as otherwise described herein, conducting or operating within this jurisdiction any of the activities listed below, a tax in the following amounts to be paid to the city:
A. Punchboards Games and/or Pull-Tabs. These activities shall be taxed at a rate of three and one-half percent of the gross receipts therefrom.
B. The taxes described herein shall not apply to bona fide charitable organizations as defined in RCW 19.09.020, and/or Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. (Ord. 1179, 1999)
