Effective January 1, 2019, there shall be levied upon every business providing wastewater/sewer utility service for domestic, farm, industrial, and other uses, a tax equal to ten percent of the total gross income derived from the operation of such business, to be levied upon such business. The city of Monroe, as a wastewater/sewer provider, shall be subject to the tax imposed by this chapter. (Ord. 025/2018 § 1)
