No such license shall be issued for any taxicab until proof has first been filed with the city clerk that the owner thereof carries public liability and property damage insurance thereon in the following amounts: Bodily injury liability, one hundred thousand dollars, each person, three hundred thousand dollars, each accident; property damage liability, fifty thousand dollars, each accident; uninsured motorist liability coverage, fifteen thousand dollars, each person, thirty thousand dollars, each accident.
