The city has elected to fix and impose a sales and use tax of five-tenths of one percent and an additional sales and use tax of five-tenths of one percent of the selling price or value of the article used in the case of a use tax, under subsection 17 of Engrossed Senate Bill No. 4972, adopting RCW 82.14.030. Snohomish County shall receive fifteen percent of the city tax so imposed. (Ord. 1108, 1997)
