23.70.010 Purpose – Definitions.

A. The purpose of this chapter is to establish standards and procedures governing the dedication of right-of-way and the granting of easements to the city for utility and access purposes that occur through the development review and approval process.
B. The following definitions shall apply for purposes of this chapter:
1. The terms “dedication,” “development,” “developer,” and “right-of-way” shall have the same meanings as defined in Chapter 22.12 MMC.
2. “Easement” means an acquired, nonpossessory interest in land owned by another party for the purpose of access, utilities or other public uses. (Ord. 032/2022 § 1 (Exh. A))
