No trench shall be filled or any connecting sewer constructed under the provisions of this chapter until the same shall have been inspected and approved by or under the direction of the director at the point where the same connects with the pipe or other plumbing of the building or premises being connected, or until the same shall be made in all respects to conform to this chapter or such other ordinances as are now or hereafter may become applicable from time to time.
