All contracts or agreements which involve the providing of goods or personal services to the city over a period of time shall address a term and a method of termination. In the event any contract or agreement fails to address a termination procedure for each party to the contract or agreement and to the extent allowed by law, said contract or agreement may be terminated by either side, subject to sixty days’ written notice. The mayor is authorized to terminate contracts or agreements subject to council confirmation in cases where this code so provides. (Ord. 1228, 2001)
