There is hereby adopted for the city of Monroe, Washington, the classification of noncharter code city (A) retaining the mayor-and-council plan of government under which the city is currently operating; and (B) retaining the same general plan of government under which the city is currently organized but governed according to Chapter 35A.12 RCW, Mayor-Council.
